First 2 cases of canine influenza confirmed in Canada

This is why I’m so adamantly against the importation of rescue dogs. We have enough dogs in local shelters why (if a rescue is what you want) import one??? These imports are usually street dogs that are a walking plethora of diseases, most of these diseases we can’t treat or protect our own dogs from. Even if they “look” healthy they can be harbouring such things as brucellosis. If you want a rescue leave your request with a local breeder.
