Greetings from Saskatchewan from Ms Kava

We are sure enjoying Ms. Kava. She is doing very well. She is still strong minded but very bright and a quick learner. Lots of energy at this age!!  Hope everything is going well for you guys. Just thought I would send you picture updates.

Pictures of Sage

Hello Don,

I just wanted to send you a quick update and some pictures of Sage. She is
doing great with a clean bill of health and the vet was impressed with her
muscular stature. Sage has all kinds of energy and wants outside all the
time no matter what the weather is!

This fall was her first hunting season and as you can see from the pictures
she has turned out to be a great grouse flushing lab. She impressed me all
fall with that nose of hers and her ability to find downed birds in thick
cover. Heck, to tell you the truth I do not even care if we get birds most
days since I get more enjoyment out of watching her work. It has certainly
been more fun and exciting hunting with a dog again so thanks so much for
that.

I hope things are well with you.

Cheers,
Dwaine

This is a Jill/Puck pup!

Jet update

We haven’t sent a photo of Jet for a while so here is one from last November. He is good looking and calm like his mom when meeting new people. Tail wagging and head down. He is very submissive and obedient. He is a great dog.

We met someone over the holiday who wants a dog from you. She was impressed with Jet and would like a Dot/Puck puppy.

First 2 cases of canine influenza confirmed in Canada

This is why I’m so adamantly against the importation of rescue dogs. We have enough dogs in local shelters why (if a rescue is what you want) import one??? These imports are usually street dogs that are a walking plethora of diseases, most of these diseases we can’t treat or protect our own dogs from. Even if they “look” healthy they can be harbouring such things as brucellosis. If you want a rescue leave your request with a local breeder.
