Hi and thanks for that dvd its quite interesting!  I have some information for you to pass on to your new clients if they have a metal crate ....

 Harlee ended up at the after hours emergency vet this weekend because she let herself out of her cage and got into some stuff.....I went out and bought a Vari-Kennel instead of the wire cages because she can open it from the inside.  I just wanted to pass it along because I did a lot of research on the wire cages and there seems to be a lot of labs that can get them open!

Sable update

Hi Don,

 

I wanted to keep you up to date on Sable;

 

Today she helped me  with the Recycling.  I was holding the bag and asking her to 'give' the plastic bottles to me. At first she was confused & wanted to play.  I corrected her, after that, Sable picked up the bottles for me.

 

I held the bag open said 'Give', and she would pick them up and let me have them.  I would drop it into the bag and repeat the cycle.

 

Periodically I gave her a treat, but other times it was verbal praise and some petting.

Koda got his first purple ribbon

Hi Don,

Koda had a great day today in Canning...He got his first purple ribbon. There were 2 other dogs in his class, then there was only one other dog for the purple ribbon. After that, he placed 3rd in the best of winners out of seven dogs.

Hi Don,

I hope that all  is well.  I've been sending a few clients your way lately -
someone you're meeting with next Friday (Wayne Johnson).  He's lost his last
two dogs bad luck and bad breeding so he's likely to be VERY cautious!

I took Jake hunting the other day,he was pretty good i killed 3 shell birds he retrieved all 3, the only trouble i had with him is that he was a bit restless when it came to waiting and being still. but,thats not to bad considering i havent spent much time with him ,inregards to hunting,alot of it seems natural..............

Hi Don,

Just like to say hello and let you know how much we are enjoying Harley. She and Perry have been inseparable. She is very good when we put her in the Kennel at night to sleep. She does not ever complain. She is happy to get up with us at 6:30. Brandy our 15 year old Golden retreiver is being very patient with her although not so much at first but she gets better every day. harley does not leave her side in the yard. I can see them getting very close.She is getting lots of exercise and time outside with us and has lots of space to run around. I think she is very happy. i can't believe how well she has settled in with us. She is beautiful and I thank you once again. I tried to send you some pictures but my Work computer is not allowing me to. I will be sure to send you some soon.
