I wanted to keep you up to date on Sable;
Today she helped me with the Recycling. I was holding the bag and asking her to 'give' the plastic bottles to me. At first she was confused & wanted to play. I corrected her, after that, Sable picked up the bottles for me.
I held the bag open said 'Give', and she would pick them up and let me have them. I would drop it into the bag and repeat the cycle.
Periodically I gave her a treat, but other times it was verbal praise and some petting.
