Photos from Isla's session in the field

Hey Don,

What an afternoon in the country Isla had yesterday! I decided it was time to see how she was doing with the basic stuff we’ve been working on and what I needed to do to not inadvertently mess up her natural abilities - which she proved she has tons of, time and time again yesterday. Without going into all the detail, she did really well on everything presented to her. She showed great focus, purpose, and drive. She worked her tail off! She loves birds (and handled them beautifully), loves the water (hits it fast and hard), loves the field (she becomes a different dog when she’s in the field), has great retrieving drive, a good mouth, doesn’t mind the gun at all, and has a ton of drive. Her ability to sight and track birds in the air was really fun to watch… it was if there was an invisible string between the birds tail and her body, despite the incredible distance.

A great day for sure! Now I have to make doubly sure I don’t mess anything up! I attached a few photos. Sorry about the quality (the photos are screen shots from video I took during the session).

Thanks again for a wonderful companion Don and Pirette!
