Hi Don,
Just wanted to drop you a note to wish you the best of the season, and let you know how our Puck/Dot progeny is doing. Starr is a very healthy and active one year old. She is a good size, weighing between 65 and 70lbs. She is quite a bit bigger and sturdier than her cousins, Cooper and Brook - a couple of yellow siblings who live around the corner. Not sure who their parents are, but Puck is their grandfather. They are a couple of months younger. Anyway, just to give you some information a breeder might be interested in, she had her first heat at just over 10 months. And it lasted about a month. She is a wonderful dog and we couldn't be happier with her. She is very patient and quiet - a real thinker. She definitely is inclined towards birds. We have a 2 acre lot and she spent a lot of time last summer stalking and flushing out the ring necked pheasants that frequent our property. Once she flushed out 5 within a few minutes. You can see her moving rhrough the brush than sitting and watching and moving again. It's clear to us that she could have been trained to be a service dog. She is very obedient and very affectionate - a characteristic that my wife and daughter really appreciate. Anyway, for my part, I would just say that Puck and Dot are a winning combination I'm sure you knew that anyway.
Thank you for putting so much effort and care into your breeding operation.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Chris and Kelliann
