Tucker, Nala and their progeny
Hi Don, It has been too long since I sent an update.
Tucker turned 9 last month, it is hard to believe it has been that long. He has a bit of grey fur but he cannot see that.
Nala has recovered from having the pups without problem.
Their pups are both doing well, the male, Bear is kind of goofy looking and still needs to grow into himself.

Artificial sweetener Xylitol very dangerous for dogs
This artificial sweetener is very dangerous for dogs! It is sometimes used in peanut butter and other human foods that may be given to dogs!!
Rottweiler study links ovaries with exceptional longevity
New research on the biology of aging in dogs suggests a link between shortened life expectancy and ovary removal.
The study, published in the December 2009 issue of the journal Aging Cell, found that Rottweilers that were spayed after they were 6 years old were 4.6 times as likely to reach 13 years of age as were Rottweilers that were spayed at a younger age.

Nya is now 2 1/2 years old.
She’s doing really well. The vet says her weight is perfect (62lbs) and she’s very healthy and physically fit. I hope you and your dogs are doing well.
